Best Credit Union Mobile Banking Apps

by on September 21, 2012

Big banks may offer the best in mobile apps and mobile banking, but here’s something they don’t want you to know: so does your local credit union! While not all credit unions offer mobile apps just yet, more and more of them are joining the mobile banking revolution every day. With most credit union mobile apps, you can check your balance, make transfers, find local ATMs, and, in some cases, check the credit union’s Facebook page or get the latest promotional offers. In fact, you can do almost all the things you can do on your credit union’s website, all from your smartphone. How’s that for on-to-go convenience?

Best mobile banking apps: NerdWallet’s picks

Below are NerdWallet’s picks for credit unions with mobile banking apps that showcase some of the fancy features available. If you don’t see a credit union near you on this list, be sure to stop by your local credit union branch and ask about their latest mobile technology offerings. If they don’t already have an app available, chances are they’ve got one in the works.
