Sprint

Back-to-school season is a great time to upgrade your cell phone, or perhaps even buy your first one. Sprint offers 10% off monthly cell phone plans for new and existing customers. If you’re switching over from another provider, Sprint will also give you a $50 service credit for each newly activated line.

Allied Van Lines

Off to college this fall, or know someone who is? If you’re moving out of state, you’re in luck. Allied Van Lines offers a minimum of 60% off out-of-state moving costs to all credit union members. Other moving benefits include secure storage, packing and unpacking, and no capacity restrictions during peak season.

Shop America

The Shop America website gives you up to 15% cash back (in the form of a check!) when you make purchases at any of 1,200+ online retailers. The Shop America database includes a large selection of back-to-school leaders like Target.com, Office Deport, Kaplan Test Prep and Barnes&Noble.com. The Shop America website also makes it easy to find which retailers have free shipping and extra coupons. Be sure to use their shopping portal every time you make your online purchases to qualify for cash back.

Unison Credit Union (Kaukauna, WI) – Great America

Summer’s almost over, but there’s still time for one more trip to rollercoaster heaven before your weekends get busy with club sports, homework and scout meetings. Unison Credit Union members can stop by their local branch to buy discounted Great America tickets for $22.99 less than the gate price. Great America is open every day through August 27th, and the first two weekends in September. Get in one last run before you hit the books. Unison Credit Union has branches in Kaukauna, Little Chute and Wrightstown. Membership is open to people who live or work in Outagamie, Calumet, Brown or Manitowoc counties, or the townships of Neenah or Menasha in Winnebago county. Family of eligible members may also join.

Georgia Power Federal Credit Union (Atlanta, GA) – Biltmore Estate & Gardens

Not everyone likes rollercoasters. Need a last-minute summer getaway that’s a little more serene? Visit George Vanderbilt’s 8,000-acre estate in Asheville, North Carolina and spend an afternoon wandering through beautiful gardens, sipping local wine and admiring the estate’s breathtaking architecture. Rogue Federal Credit Union (Ashland, OR) – Computer Services at the Cyber Center

For many of us, back-to-school season means that it’s time for a new computer. If that sounds like you, Rogue Federal Credit Union in Ashland has the perfect discount. Their members get a 10% discount on all in-store and onsite service fees at the Cyber Center in Medford. The Cyber Center is Ashland’s local source for custom PCs and accessories, tech support and repair services. When school’s in session, what better time to show your spirit by sporting a t-shirt or sweatshirt with your school sports team, club or organization? North Jersey Federal Credit Union members get free set up at Alpha T’s, a local screen printing and embroidery company, so you can get your logo printed on a t-shirt, sweatshirt or novelty item. North Jersey Federal Credit Union has branch locations in Totowa, Newark and Paterson. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or regularly conducts business in Passaic or Bergen counties, the city of Newark, or the underserved areas of Essex and Union counties.

Park Community Federal Credit Union (Louisville, KY) – Z-Xpress Car Wash

After driving through the dusty mountains all summer, your car probably needs a back-to-school bath. Park Community members get their own special discounts at Z-Xpress Car Wash: $2 off a Z-Xtreme or Z-Xtra car wash, or $1 off a Z-Xcellent wash. Just make sure you ask for the discount before you pay. Park Community Federal Credit Union has branches in Kentucky, Indiana and Alabama. Education Credit Union (Amarillo, TX) – Back to School Loans

Instead of putting everything on your credit card, consider applying for a back-to-school loan at Education Credit Union. With a good credit score, you’ll qualify for an interest rate that’s less than half of what credit cards charge. Education Credit Union has branches in Amarillo, Bushland and Canyon. There are many ways to qualify for membership if you are affiliated with a local school.
