Verdict - There are better choices than the Discover Business Miles. It ranks poorly in both rewards and APRs compared to other business credit card options on our site.
The Discover Business Miles is a mediocre card in terms of both rewards and APR.
How it stacks up as a Rewards Card The Discover Business Miles pays out 2 Miles per $1 spent on travel and gas, for up to $5,000 in combined spending a year. For all other purchases the card pays out 1 Mile per $1 spent, except at wholesalers where you earn 0.25 miles per $1 spent.
If you're willing to put up with having a Discover card, which is not as widely accepted as Visa and MasterCard, you should at least consider going with the Sams Club Discover Plus Business which pays out 2% rewards above $10,000 in spending each year, and 1.19% before then. Depending on which categories you spend money on, you can do even better with a Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. Run the numbers for yourself - sort by Rewards on our business credit card page.
