Verdict – If you spend more on restaurants and home improvement stores than wireless bills, the Chase Ink Cash Business is a better card.
The Cash Rewards Visa Business Platinum is very similar to the Chase Ink Cash, in that they both offer 3% back on gas and office supplies, and have almost identical APRs. However, the US Bank FlexPerks Business Cash Rewards card falls short in other departments – it has a $25 annual fee after the first year, and does not offer 3% back on restaurants and home improvement stores. On the other hand, it has an advantage over the Chase card because it offers 3% back on cellular bills. So if you spend a lot more on restaurants and home improvement than cellular bills, go for the Chase card.
Reward redemption is fairly straight forward for the FlexPerks. Every time you earn $25 in rewards, you can either get a statement credit or check from US Bank, and rewards never expire.
An added bonus feature of this card is that at the end of each year, when you renew the card, you will get a bonus reward equal to the lesser of 25% of the previous year’s reward, or $250.
