  • Earn 1.5 points per $1 spent on purchases
  • The points program is subpar, you only get $50 for 6,500 points, and have to save up 100,000 points before you can redeem for 1 cent per 1 point, or in this case, $1,000
  • Don't book travel with your points either, the fine print says that there's a $37.95 travel redemption fee in North America and a $47.95 travel fee internationally
  • Be wary of the comically high 5% cash advance and balance transfer fees at this credit union
  • A 3% foreign transaction fee is also abnormally high for a credit union
  • Also, the $35 late payment fee and the 29.99% penalty APR are basically the legal limit, which makes us think this is not a very consumer friendly choice
