In the heat of summer travel season, two Marriott co-branded American Express credit cards are elevating rewards points on several travel spending categories.
From July 14 through Sept 30, 2021, existing holders of the Marriott Bonvoy and the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card can earn 6 Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar on the following categories:
Eligible car rentals.
Flights booked directly with airlines.
Gas purchases.
Transit, including rideshare, parking, tolls, trains and bus purchases.

Cardmembers who activate the offer will be able to earn up to 10,000 bonus points in each category for a total of up to 40,000 bonus points. Those who hold the legacy Marriott Bonvoy card need to activate the offer here, and those with the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card must follow this link.
This limited-time offer is in addition to existing Marriott Bonvoy benefits for cardholders, such as:
As part of an Uber and Marriott Bonvoy promotion, cardholders can earn up to 6 points per dollar on qualifying UberEats deliveries and 3 points per dollar spent on Uber XL, Comfort, SUV and Black rides.
Through Dec. 31, 2021, cardholders can also earn 10 points per dollar on eligible purchases made directly with Homes & Villas by Marriott International, on up to $7,500.
Other card features of the $650-annual-fee Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card remain unchanged.
