Gemini Credit Card Adds 10% Crypto Rewards on Gas and EV Charging

The Gemini Mastercard just became more valuable for drivers looking to earn crypto rewards.
Beginning on Nov. 15, 2022, all new and existing cardholders will receive bonus rewards on certain spending for a limited time: Earn 10% back in cryptocurrency on gas and EV charging purchases for a full calendar year, up to $2,400. The promotion is capped at $200 spent on these purchases per calendar month.
According to the card's issuer, WebBank, new applicants must be approved for the card by Jan. 15, 2023, to qualify for the promotional offer. Existing cardholders will be automatically enrolled.
The promotional period lasts for 12 calendar months — it begins in November 2022 for existing cardholders and in the month of approval for new applicants. Only purchases at the pump and EV purchases will be eligible. Purchases made inside a gas station won't receive the 10% offer.
The Gemini Mastercard will continue to earn 3% back on dining purchases, 2% back on groceries and 1% back on all other purchases. Once the $200 monthly spending cap is hit, cardholders will receive 1% back on gas and EV purchases.
Is it a good deal?
For those interested in earning crypto rewards and won't spend more than the $200 monthly cap, 10% back for a full calendar year on gas and EV charging purchases will be tough to beat.
