New Simon AmEx Credit Card From Cardless: Up to 5% Back

A new co-branded credit card from Cardless and Simon Property Group could mean big savings for mall and outlet shoppers.
Now accepting applications, the Simon American Express Credit Card from Cardless offers the following rewards in the form of statement credit:
5% back on purchases at select merchants at Simon Malls, Simon Mills and Simon Premium Outlets, and on certain online purchases. (See list below.)
3% back on other qualifying purchases at Simon Malls, Simon Mills and Simon Premium Outlets.
1.5% back on purchases made anywhere else using Apple Pay or Google Wallet. (This rate also applies to gift cards purchased in person via one of these mobile wallets at a qualifying Simon Center).
1% back on all other qualifying purchases.
The 5% and 3% bonus categories are subject to a combined annual spending cap. More on that below.
Eligible Simon retailers
Purchases made from any of Simon's nearly 200 locations within the U.S. and Puerto Rico will be eligible to earn 3% or 5% back, depending on the retailer, on up to $10,000 in combined annual spending across both of those categories.
As of this writing, eligible in-person merchants for the 5% category include JCPenney, Aeropostale, Brooks Bros., Nautica, Forever 21, Reebok, Eddie Bauer, and Lucky Brand stores. Online shoppers can also earn 5% back through Gilt, RueLala, and the Simon Premium Outlets website.
Welcome offer
The Simon American Express Credit Card from Cardless also features a welcome offer: Cardmembers will be eligible to earn a bonus worth $150 in statement credits after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days.
This is the first Cardless product that runs on the American Express payment network. Previously, Cardless has offered Mastercard products co-branded primarily with professional sports teams, including the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and MLB’s Miami Marlins.
