Many or all of the products featured here are from our partners who compensate us. This influences which products we write about and where and how the product appears on a page. However, this does not influence our evaluations. Our opinions are our own. Here is a list of our partners and here's how we make money.

Marketing plays a significant role in small business success, and a well-developed marketing campaign can capitalize on more holidays than just major days like Thanksgiving and Christmas. There are hundreds of unique holidays in the U.S. each year, such as Coffee Day (Sept. 29), Lawn and Garden Month (April) and Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day (last Monday of January). By identifying a few holidays throughout the year that align with your business offerings, you can raise brand awareness and get more eyes on your business.

Here’s a list of annual holidays that small businesses can celebrate throughout the year to boost customer interest.

🤓Nerdy Tip

Look for different ways to market for holidays that relate to your business or will be interesting to customers. Ideas include having a holiday-related sale, running a social media campaign, email marketing and hosting special in-store or online events.

Remember major consumer shopping days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and, of course, Small-Business Saturday. But don’t be afraid to target some fun holidays from the list below to get customers thinking about your business.
