AT&T's prepaid service, formerly called GoPhone, offers access to AT&T’s network at lower prices. Customers can choose from monthly or pay-as-you-go prepaid plans. Monthly plans are eligible for multi-line and automatic payment discounts.
AT&T prepaid plans
Talk and text (no data): $30; $25 with autopay discount
1GB: $35; $30 with autopay discount
8GB: $50; $40 with autopay discount
Unlimited data: $65; $50 with autopay discount
Unlimited Plus: $85; $70 with autopay discount
Unlimited Plus includes 10GB of high-speed mobile hot spot access and the option to stream video in high definition.
Multi-line discount: You can have up to five lines on one account, with each additional line receiving a discount. You get $10 off the second and third lines, and $20 off the fourth and fifth lines. This discount is only available on monthly plans.
Daily plan: $2 per day for unlimited minutes and texts. You are charged only if you place or receive a call or send a text. There's no charge on days you don't use your phone.
Per-minute plan: 25 cents per minute, 20 cents per text message.
AT&T's pay-as-you-go plans don't include data. Any data used is charged at a rate of 1 cent per 5 kilobytes. On the $2 daily plan, you can buy a day data pass for $1, which gives you 100 megabytes to use for the day.
