Overall

4.5

Many credit unions offer better interest rates than banks do, but they also may have narrow membership requirements and less polished technology. But Alliant Credit Union combines the best of both worlds with broad membership criteria, great rates and a good tech experience.

highly recommend this credit union
I have been a member for over 10yrs. I've had several car loans (best rates ever) and the staff was very helpful in completing the transactions for me. You can beat the savings account rates and even checking has a decent return.

Positive experience thus far
I see a lot of negative reviews for this CU, but I have had no problems. The website itself is a little dated, but I am barely on there anyway as I mostly use the phone app, which has a nice user interface and is easy to use. My transactions show up quickly and when logging onto the website I even see my future direct deposits. I have had no issues with my direct deposits since I opened the account and customer service has quickly responded to all my messages/calls. Interest rates is competitive to other HYSA.
