Horrible Customer Trip in India
Please stop sourcing your customer service out to India.....very frustrating to deal with people who are not in this country. I called to get paperwork sent to the DMV and one person seemed helpful, but never did what was needed. Called back and they said I needed to fax information. I faxed information and called to see if they received it and they said they could not tell me for 24-48 hours. Please, please, please stop saving money and do what's best for your customers.

Deposit Rejects - Terrible WorkAround...mail them in...WHAT?
Had been happy with all things Ally until they REJECTED my eDeposits made through the mobile application for no legal or logical reason. I attempted to deposit two checks from State Farm made out to me and my mortgage holder Chase Bank. These checks were payments for storm damage to my home. I took them to Chase and they endorsed them for me and asked if I wanted to open an account with them; I declined. I then endorsed them and made a $7K eDeposit with Ally. I was notified via email the following day to contact customer service because both checks were rejected. that they were rejected. Customer service said the only way to depoist thes "third party " chekcs was to mail them in and wait several days after they received them for them to verify they they were legit. Really...State Farm and Chase Back are not legit? Meanwhile, I'm scratching my head thinking why do you need the paper when you already have the images via the mobil app? Could not get an answer, even from a supervisor. I would have been OK with them putting a hold on the checks until they cleared, plus I had more than ample funds in my MMA to cover the checks, so no risk to Ally at all, but they would not even consider doing this where most other banks do just that! After this fiasco, my checking, MMA and CD are moving to elswhere!
