Overall

3.5

Citibank offers a range of products and tools you’d expect from a big bank, but it also has drawbacks often seen with large institutions, and it falls short of peers in some areas. Citibank is the retail banking division of Citigroup, a New York-based financial services provider with 200 million customer accounts worldwide. Ratings methodology | Updated Jan. 10, 2019

Run far away
Wanted to open a bank account with CitiBank and set up direct deposit. I have never dealt with customer service as rude, unorganized, and unhelpful as CitiBank Customer Service. It has been one month since I have tried finalizing my account opening. Luckily today, after 30 minutes, I was able to get through to a supervisor and cancel my application. I will be keeping my money and direct deposit at a bank that knows how to run itself. I am just happy I didn't trust my money with them.

Find a bank that cares not this one
I was with them for 27 years and having kept much money at next to zero rate they want to charge me fees just to keep 10s of thousands of dollars with them. The branch manger's are just high end teller with no power.
