Many or all of the products featured here are from our partners who compensate us. This may influence which products we write about and where and how the product appears on a page. However, this does not influence our evaluations. Our opinions are our own. Here is a list of our partners and here's how we make money.

Wells Fargo's business credit card lineup continues to evolve. The bank stopped accepting new applicants for business credit cards in 2023, retiring several options. However, Wells Fargo launched its latest offering — the Signify Business Cash℠ Card — at the end of April 2024. For those who like straightforward cash-back business credit cards, the wait was potentially worth it.
The highlight of this new Wells Fargo business card is unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases. Considering the card also has no annual fee, that rate is tough to beat.
The Signify Business Cash℠ Card also includes a 12-month 0% intro APR period for purchases (after that the variable APR is 18.49% – 26.49%), as well as a competitive welcome offer: Earn $500 after spending $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months (terms apply). It's a great combination of features.
The primary downside is that it's the only business card Wells Fargo currently offers new customers. The issuer previously had cards that let you earn bonus points, plus a secured business credit card for entrepreneurs with thin or poor personal credit (typically considered a FICO score below 630). Business owners who can't qualify for the Signify Business Cash℠ Card or want multiple business credit cards from the same issuer to maximize rewards are out of luck.
If you're looking for a complementary card — or one that offers different or better features compared to the Signify Business Cash℠ Card — consider the alternatives below.

NerdWallet’s editorial picks: Best Wells Fargo business credit card alternatives

Before applying, confirm details on the issuer's website.

Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card

Best for: Bigger sign-up bonus
NerdWallet star rating:
5
The
Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
offers a sizable sign-up bonus:
Earn $750 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
That's more than the Signify Business Cash℠ Card (though the spend requirement is as well). The
Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
matches Wells Fargo for intro APR:
0% intro APR on Purchases for 12 months, and then the ongoing APR of 17.74%-23.74% Variable APR
. However, it offers a lower
1.5
% cash back rate on all purchases. Still, the higher bonus might make up for that difference depending on your spending. Learn more and apply.

U.S. Bank Business Altitude™ Connect World Elite Mastercard®

Best for: 4X points on all travel
NerdWallet star rating:
5
Wells Fargo doesn't offer a travel business credit card. If you're on the road often, consider the
U.S. Bank Business Altitude™ Connect World Elite Mastercard®
— it delivers impressive rewards on travel, no matter where you book it:
Earn 5X points on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Rewards Center. Earn 4X points on travel, gas and EV charging stations* on the first $150,000 in combined annual spend (*excludes discount stores/supercenters and wholesale clubs). Earn 2X points on dining, takeout, restaurant delivery and cell service providers. Earn 1X points on all other eligible spend.
There's also a solid welcome offer and no annual fee for the first year. After that, you’ll pay $
95
. Learn more and apply.

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

Best for: Up to 5% cash back in bonus categories
NerdWallet star rating:
4.8
Straightforward cash-back rewards like those from Wells Fargo are nice. But if you want supercharged rewards on things like office supplies and internet service, consider the
Ink Business Cash® Credit Card
. You’ll earn
1%-5%
cash back with no annual fee. Plus, you’ll get
0% intro APR on Purchases for 12 months, and then the ongoing APR of 17.74%-25.74% Variable APR
. Learn more and apply.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

Best for: Premium travel rewards
NerdWallet star rating:
4.8
True road warriors should look at
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
. The annual fee ($
695
) is undoubtedly high. But it can be offset by its rewards:
Get 5X Membership Rewards® points on flights and prepaid hotels on amextravel.com, and 1X points for each dollar you spend on eligible purchases. Earn 1.5X points (that’s an extra half point per dollar) on eligible purchases at US construction material & hardware suppliers, electronic goods retailers and software & cloud system providers, and shipping providers, as well as on purchases of $5,000 or more everywhere else, on up to $2 million of these purchases per calendar year. Terms Apply.
See rates and fees. Learn more and apply.

U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite Mastercard®

Best for: More cash back on gas
NerdWallet star rating:
5
The
U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite Mastercard®
offers solid cash-back rewards:
Earn 3% cash back on eligible purchases at gas stations and EV charging stations (transactions of $200 or less)*, office supply stores, cell phone service providers and restaurants (*excludes discount stores/supercenters and wholesale clubs). Earn 1% cash back on all other eligible net purchases. Earn 5% cash back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Rewards Center.
. Plus, you'll get a competitive sign-up bonus ($
750
) and intro APR period for no annual fee. Learn more and apply.

Capital On Tap

Best for: Business owners with fair credit
NerdWallet star rating:
3.8
If you were interested in Wells Fargo’s secured business card, the
Capital on Tap Business Credit Card
may be an option. Unlike most other small-business credit cards, this card is available to business owners with fair credit — the company recommends a FICO score of 670 or higher. Capital On Tap matches the
1.5
% cash-back rate the Wells Fargo secured card had and charges no annual fee. There’s one big drawback, though: This card isn’t available to sole proprietors. You’ll need a business entity, like an LLC, to qualify. Learn more and apply.

Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card

Best for: Travel rewards with no annual fee
NerdWallet star rating:
3.6
The
Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card
pays solid rewards —
1.5x
points for every dollar spent, which can increase if you’re also a Bank of America business checking customer — on every purchase. You can redeem those points on a wide variety of travel needs. You’ll pay no foreign transaction fees, and there’s no annual fee. Learn more and apply.

Capital One® Spark® Classic for Business

Best for: Sole proprietors with fair credit
NerdWallet star rating: 3
The Capital One® Spark® Classic for Business is a potential alternative to the Wells Fargo Business Secured Credit Card for business owners with fair credit (typically a FICO score between 630 and 689). While the Spark Classic earns only 1% cash back, compared with the 1.5% the Wells Fargo secured card had, it does not require a security deposit. Read our review.

Bank of America® Business Advantage Unlimited Cash Rewards Mastercard® Secured credit card

Best for: Secured business credit card
This card has not been rated by NerdWallet.
If your credit isn’t strong enough to qualify for other business credit card options, Bank of America offers a secured business credit card. After a security deposit of at least $1,000, you’ll earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase. Using your card and making on-time payments can help you build business credit over time, and you can monitor your Dun & Bradstreet business credit score within Bank of America’s dashboard.
