You searched long and hard for the best possible rewards credit card for your daily spending, but have you thought about your business plastic? The Ink Plus® Business Credit Card boasts one of the best signup bonuses in the industry — Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That's $750 toward travel when you redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards®. But for a limited time, the card is offering 10,000 additional points, for a total signup bonus of 70,000 points. Here’s what you need to know about the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card.

Why would I want the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card?

The Ink Plus® Business Credit Card is a great business credit card for travel rewards. It’s a good option for businesses that spend between $25,000 and $50,000 each year, primarily on office supplies, cable/telecom services, gas and hotels. Businesses that spend significantly more will likely profit the first year due to the large signup bonus, but after that it only makes sense for those with spending around $50,000. It’s also a good card for people who travel overseas for business, because it comes chip-enabled and doesn’t have foreign transaction fees.

The perks of the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card

Putting the signup bonus aside, the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card can net your business a fair amount of travel points if you spend primarily in the categories with high rewards rates. The rewards program offers 1-5 points on each $1 spent:

  • 5X points per $1 spent on office supplies and cable/telecom services, up to $50,000 spent annually
  • 2X points per $1 spent on gas and hotels, also up to $50,000 spent annually
  • 1 point per $1 spent on everything else

These points are worth 25% more if redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards. That means the limited-time-offer signup bonus is potentially worth $875 in travel rewards.

The Ink Plus® Business Credit Card has no foreign transaction fees and the annual fee is $95. It comes with trip cancellation/trip interruption insurance, auto rental collision damage waiver and purchase protection.

The downside of the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card

While a solid card, the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card isn’t appropriate for every business. If you spend mostly outside of the categories with high rewards rates or spend significantly more than $50,000 per year, it isn’t the best business credit card option for you, as you can get higher rewards elsewhere.

Bottom line: The Ink Plus® Business Credit Card is a fantastic choice for business owners that spend mostly on office supplies and cable/telecom services — but not much more than $50,000 annually — and redeem for travel. If this is you, don’t wait! This limited time offer doesn’t have an advertised expiration date — apply as soon as possible so you don’t miss out. Enjoy your (business) trip!
