The NerdWallet election model, launched in August, has consistently predicted President Barack Obama would be reelected with odds of a Mitt Romney win fluctuating between only 7% and 33%.  Last night our predictions proved true with NerdWallet correctly calling 49 of 50 states, with only undecided Florida remaining unsure.

NerdWallet’s election model is the only model that is completely free of human-bias.  The model takes current polling and historical accuracy of polling and then runs 30,000 simulations per day to determine the statistically most likely outcome.

Thanks for all your support and we look forward to seeing you back for the next election!

NerdWallet Election Model Prediction:

Obama 303
Romney 235

Actual Results:
