BorrowersFirst, an online lender that provided personal loans for average-credit borrowers, stopped lending in October 2017.
The Texas-based company typically approved borrowers with credit scores of 680 who wanted to consolidate debt.
Existing loans will continue to be serviced by two different service companies, according to the BorrowersFirst website. Borrowers should have been contacted directly by the companies.
