According to NerdWallet’s analysis of salary statistics among top business schools, the average MBA student will earn $113,730 straight out of graduation, which includes a signing bonus of $18,764. Who wants to buy a yacht?

But let’s not stop at just the average: Who is earning the most with their MBA? The list below includes the top 20 MBA programs included in NerdWallet’s MBA School Comparison Tool. Stanford University leads all other MBA programs with an average total compensation of $146,677. This is due to Stanford’s high percentage of graduates employed in speciality finance jobs such as investment banking, venture capital, and hedge funds. Stanford graduates earn $10,000 more than other US-based schools, but a prospective MBA student cannot go wrong with any of the earning potentials identified here.
