Student Loans Processing Corp., which appears to be defunct, was hit with sizable liens in 2016 for unpaid California taxes.
At the time of this Watch List posting, the Better Business Bureau had given Student Loans Processing an “F” rating.
Another company owned by managers Raffi Sadejyan and Harry Pambuckchyan, Precise Enterprises LLC, was sued by the Texas attorney general in 2014 and accused of robocalling hundreds of thousands of Texas consumers, including many who were on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Enforcement actions: In the Texas case, a federal court default judgment in 2015 ordered Precise Enterprises to pay more than $6 million for breaches of the federal and state laws that prohibit abusive and deceptive automated calling.
As of 2017, the state of Texas had not forgotten about that unpaid judgment, which had grown by roughly $37,000 because of accrued interest.
California imposed tax liens of $33,201 against Student Loans Processing, records show.
