The 2014 Black Friday ad for Ace Hardware has been released! Check out the info below to get an idea of this year’s awesome savings.
Best Ace Hardware Black Friday Deals from 2013
Although Ace Hardware wasn’t home to the biggest Black Friday deals of the season last year, it did offer a few notable discounts for Ace shoppers. The three-day sale ran Friday through Sunday, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, and featured a broad range of tools, toys and holiday supplies. As in years past, stores opened at 7 a.m.
Among the highlights of last year’s bargains were its coupons for discounts on otherwise full-priced items. The discounts were offered over the three-day period, with the best deals on Friday: 20% off all regularly priced items until 10 a.m. Friday, 50% off one regularly priced item all day Saturday and $10 off purchases of at least $50 on regularly priced merchandise. Among its best item-specific discounts, Ace offered the DEWALT 20-volt max lithium-ion cordless compact drill/driver kit for only $99.99 and the 3.5 CH Gyro Hercules unbreakable remote-control helicopter for a low $39.99.
For only $9.99, shoppers could choose from a selection of small, useful items:
- Irwin 12-Inch Bar Clamp 2-Pack
- Ace Brand 12-Piece Combination Wrench Set
- Crescent 11-Piece Socket & Wrench Set
- Coast LED Headlamp or Flashlight
- Craftsman 14-in-1 Versitool Ratcheting Multi-Driver
- Craftsman 8-Piece Screwdriver Set
Faithful to the Black Friday tradition, the ads also revealed a range of discounts on holiday items, including LED reel lights for $17.99, holiday lanterns for $19.99 and lighted holiday silhouettes for $5.99.
Last but not least, the 2013 sale also featured some great discounts on kids toys, from cars to play tools. The selection, sure to please parents in search of presents for kids who like to build, included the following:
- Craftsman Kids’ 31-Piece Toolbox Set: $8.99
- Lumber Jax 165-Piece Log Set: $14.99
- Remote Control Sports Quad Racer: $19.99
- Kids’ Creative Play Table: $29.99
- Craftsman Kids’ 66-Piece Heavy-Duty Workbench Set: $49.99
If you’re not a member of Ace Rewards, the hardware store’s loyalty program, consider signing up before Black Friday. Last year, the free rewards program – not the same as the Ace store credit card – let shoppers access benefits such as in-store “instant savings” by simply presenting their cards. Consumers who didn’t have Ace Rewards membership were required to mail in rebate forms before Dec. 1. Although all consumers were eligible for the discounts, in-store savings made the process much easier and quicker, ensuring that shoppers actually received their discounts on the spot without the bother of upfront payment and sending in rebate forms before the deadline.
