Best Toys R Us Black Friday Deals From 2013

One of the largest toy retailers in the world, Toys R Us offers an online store and hundreds of retail locations for toy shoppers around the country.

Spanning 32 pages, the 2013 Black Friday ad featured specials throughout the three-day sale. Beginning with deals from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, the holiday shopping continued as stores stayed open all night Thursday and through 10 p.m. on Black Friday. Saturday marked the last opportunity for bargain hunters. Furthermore, shoppers who spent at least $75 Thursday and Friday received a $10 card toward future purchases.

Although the window for the four-hour sale couldn’t fall at a more impractical time – right in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner for many – the sale featured 50-60% discounts on some great items, including:

  • Leapfrog LeapPad 2 Explorer: $39.99 (50% off)
  • Skylanders Swap Force starter pack: $37.49 (50% off)
  • Despicable Me 2 Dancing Dave: $24.99 (50% off)
  • Cra-Z-Loom extravaganza set: $21.99 (55% off)
  • Doc McStuffins doctor’s bag set: $7.99 (60% off)

For consumers who missed the Thursday bargains, Toys R Us offered some great doorbusters Friday, including the following toys and games:

  • Play-Doh 4-pack: $1 (75% off)
  • Let’s Rock Elmo: $19.98 (more than 70% off)
  • Stats 40-inch table games: $39.99 (50% off)
  • All Disney infinity figures, power discs and accessories: buy one, get one 50% off

But not all sales were limited to a four-hour or one-day window. Some of the best deals offered throughout the three-day sale, including books, play sets and dolls:

  • Polaroid V7 7-inch tablet: $49.99 ($80 off)
  • Imaginarium 55-piece train set with table: $39.99 (50% off)
  • Leapfrog Leapster GS Explorer: $29.99 (50% off)
  • Fisher-Price Hero World Batmobile: $19.99 (50% off)
  • PlaySkool Let’s Rock Elmo: $19.98 (more than 70% off)
  • My First Smart Pad Library: $14.99 (50% off)
  • Playskool Heroes Crimefightin’ Headquarters Play Set: $14.99 ($20 off)

Furthermore, the store featured discounts of up to 80% on storewide clearance items.

For shoppers on a budget, there were some great finds for $10 or less:

  • Crayola Super Art Coloring Kit: $10 (more than 50% off)
  • Monster High Ghouls Rule Dolls: $9.99 (60% off)
  • All Disney Treasury books: $5.99 each (more than 60% off)
  • Select board games: $5
  • Select DVD and Blu-ray movies: $3.99
  • Xia Xia Play Set for $1 (75% off clearance price)
