Even though the average women’s size in the U.S. is 14, that’s where many retailers’ sizes stop. From H&M to Abercrombie & Fitch, dozens of mainstream clothing companies fail to stock sizes above 12 or 14. So much for major Black Friday deals that don’t include your size.

But that’s not the end of the story for plus-size shoppers. Whether you’re a teenage girl or a middle-aged woman, here’s a list of 12 stores that offer both plus sizes and great deals on Black Friday.

Ashley Stewart

With dresses, denim, tops, outerwear and intimates, plus-size fashion retailer Ashley Stewart stocks women’s clothing in sizes 12 through 26. Major savings awaited online shoppers last Black Friday, when the retailer featured a sitewide discount of 50%. The online-only promotion included free shipping for orders of more than $99.

The Britain-based online retailer ASOS offers celebrity-inspired styles in sizes US 00 through 22. Last year, the store featured a 20% discount sitewide, with the promo code HAPPYBLACKFRIDAY for women’s wear. The promotion lasted from Thanksgiving to Monday and included free returns.

Forever 21

With dresses, sweaters, jeans, skirts and shoes, Forever 21 offers a lot of choice in its plus-size section. Last November, the store featured a pre-Black Friday sale offering up to 50% off select items, as well as $10 off boots. Black Friday featured “yellow-tag deals,” with items as low as $3 a piece.

Flash-sale site Ideel (formerly known as Ideeli) offers up to 70% off retail prices on designer apparel, shoes and more. When it comes to larger sizes, the website features a plus-size-only boutique, showcasing designers such as Adrianna Papell, Monif C. and Donna Ricco New York. During its Black Friday sale last year, Ideel offered up to 90% off its selection. Shoppers who spent $75 received a $25 credit for a future purchase, while purchases totaling $125 or more qualified for $50 in credit.

Lane Bryant

Established at the turn of the 20th century by a Lithuanian immigrant and dressmaker, Lane Bryant was the first U.S. retailer to offer women’s clothes in “stout” and maternity sizes. Specializing in fashion for women ages 25-45, Lane Bryant has been a major player in the plus-size market ever since. The largest plus-size retailer in the country, it has more than 700 locations and a popular online store.

Last year, Lane Bryant’s Black Friday sale featured some of the best deals on the market. For five days – Wednesday through Sunday – the retailer offered 50% off its entire store. Furthermore, shoppers who spent at least $40 received a free gift. The promotion applied in stores and online, although online shoppers needed to apply the promotional code THANKSLB to get the discount. Although the promotion did not include free shipping, shoppers could select “ship to store” to avoid paying for delivery.

Whether it’s cat-themed leggings or a ’50s-style dress you’re looking for, check out ModCloth for a broad selection of vintage-inspired and indie clothing for women sizes 00 through 30. Founded in 2002, the online retailer features dresses, tops, bottom, swimwear and more, and offered 50% off on hundreds of items during its Black Friday sale last year.

Monif C.

Specializing in clothing for the “modern and confident” plus-size woman, Monif C. offers dresses, formal wear and swimsuits in sizes 14 and up. This year, its annual Black Friday sale will feature a 40% discount on select items.

Originally named Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, NYDJ offers women’s denim wear and more. Branded as the “original slimming jean,” the store promises pants with the perfect fit and comes in sizes 00 through 24W, including petite sizes. During its Cyber Monday sale last year, the store offered 20% off to customers who spent at least $150.

Simply Be

From denim and lingerie to blazers and boots, the online retailer Simply Be offers sizes 8 through 28. The site offered great deals during its Black Friday sale last year, featuring a 40% discount across the site and providing free tracked shipping on orders of more than $75.

With an online store and more than 400 brick-and-mortar locations across North America, Talbots offers classic styles in women’s clothing, swimwear and suits for a range of body types, including plus size and plus size petite. During the retailer’s Black Friday promotion last year, shoppers could get 40% off their entire purchase all day and 50% off one regularly priced item before noon. Furthermore, all purchases came with a free branded tote bag, as supplies lasted.

Targeting young, stylish women, Torrid offers fashion for sizes 12 through 28. During its Black Friday sale last year, the retailer offered a 40% discount on regularly priced items and 50% off its clearance selection. The sale lasted from Thursday through Friday and required the code BF2013. It was quickly followed by a Cyber Monday promotion in which shoppers who spent at least $50 received a $25 credit toward future purchases. Like the Black Friday sale, Cyber Monday’s sale included clearance items marked down 50%, while the 40% discount on regularly priced items dropped to 30%.

Wet Seal

With sizes up to 24, Wet Seal offers current fashions for teens, including tops, dresses, shoes, jeans and more. The retailer offered great bargains for its online and in-store shoppers last year, featuring a buy-one-get-one-80%-off promotion until noon Friday.
