Tablets are big-ticket items this year, with more people opting for brands outside of the Apple arena. Since iPads and tablets became mainstream in 2010, the number of people using them every day has grown quickly. The iPad still is the most popular of these mobile computers, but models from Samsung, RCA and Amazon are increasing in popularity. Check out our list below on the best places to get a tablet this Black Friday, with some selling for less than $100:

Deals on tablets for Black Friday 2015

iPads, iPad Minis, iPad Airs

Best Buy and Target have the biggest deals on these Apple products. Make sure you know what you’re looking for, because the deals differ at various locations, depending on the model.  

  • Save $100-$125 on iPad Airs at Best Buy, $100 off 64 GB and $125 off 128 GB.
  • $199 for an iPad Mini 2 16 GB with Wi-Fi at Wal-Mart (25% off regular price).
  • Target isn’t offering lower prices on iPad Minis but is offering $100 or $80 store gift cards with the purchase of an iPad Mini 2 ($269) or iPad Mini 4 ($399).

Black Friday deals on Samsung Galaxy tablets at Best Buy, Target and Sears

With varying sizes and storage capacities, Samsung Galaxy tablets are offered at a larger discount than their Apple counterparts. Check out some of the best deals this season on Samsung tablets:

  • Best Buy offers $60 and $70 discounts on 7- and 9.7-inch Samsung tablets (regularly $179.99 and $299.99).
  • Best Buy has the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch, 32 GB tablet for $399.99.
  • $99.99 at Best Buy for a Samsung Kids 7-inch tablet (regularly $149.99).
  • Sears is offering $100 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch tablet (regularly $499.99) as well as $20 back in points for Sears members.
  • Target has the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch, 16 GB tablet on sale for $229.99, which comes with a $30 store gift card.

RCA tablets — lowest prices found at Wal-Mart

  • Wal-Mart offers the RCA 10-inch Viking Pro Android 2-in-1 with detachable keyboard and trackpad for $79 ($68 off).
  • Wal-Mart offers the RCA 7-inch Voyager II Android Ad-Free Tablet for $28.88 (regularly $49.87).
  • Wal-Mart is selling the RCA Cambio W101 V2 Windows 10 2-in-1 with detachable keyboard and trackpad for $128, which comes with 32 GB memory, 1 USB, 1 USB 2.0 and 1 HDMI port.

Best all-around deal on tablets
