Bed Bath & Beyond Best Black Friday Deals 2013

Bed Bath & Beyond’s best Black Friday deal for 2013 is by far their coupon for 20% off of an entire purchase. You must arrive between 6 a.m. and noon in order to receive the coupon, but it will be valid throughout the whole day on Black Friday.

If you’re specifically looking for a Dyson, then Bed Bath & Beyond’s promotion for 25% off all Dyson vacuums and heaters is the deal for you! This promotion starts at 12:01 a.m. EST online, and at 6 a.m. in store. Unfortunately, you cannot use the 20% off coupon on your Dyson purchases, but nonetheless Bed Bath and Beyond’s promotion is on par with many Dyson deals elsewhere this season.

Best Bed Bath & Beyond Black Friday Deals from 2012

The two-page ad from last year for Bed Bath & Beyond was sweet and simple: 20% off the entire purchase in the store. In order to get this deal, buyers had to show up between the hours of 6am and noon on Black Friday, but the coupon was valid all day that the store was opened.

There was one exception to the coupon’s cover-all discount: no Dyson products were applicable. This was reasonable, considering that the only other advertised discount in the ad specified that 25% was taken off on all dyson vaccums and heaters. The fine print notes that this dyson promotion couldn’t be combined with any offers. Looking at the dropped prices for the dyson products, the cheapest model turned out to be the $149.99 DC34 Cordless Handheld and the most expensive was the $487.49 DC41 Ball Animal Complete Upright vacuum.

The dyson discount wasn’t a Black Friday exclusive either. The sale on them went all weekend from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. For those solely focused on getting a deal on vacuums, it may have been better to skip the craziness of Friday and go a different day.

The craziness wasn’t imagined either. In Hanover, Maryland, a boy walked out of a Bed Bath & Beyond with his shopping bags two hours after the opening hour. A group of men followed him through the shopping mall parking lot and then proceeded to attack him, throwing punches and stealing his bags.

Despite the violence on the news, Bed Bath & Beyond did really well in the fourth quarter results of its fiscal year 2012, which included the ever-crowded Black Friday. Compared to 2011’s same quarter (ending February 2013), quarterly net sales increased by roughly 24.5% from $2.7 million to $3.4 billion. This was up from the $2.5 billion of the 2010 fourth quarter, so the retailer has definitely been on a good streak.

If you’re looking for new bedding, bath towels, coffee makers, patio furniture, window panels, improved cookware, or vacuums (especially vacuums), don’t hesitate to consider making Bed Bath & Beyond your stop of choice for this Black Friday.
