With its updated, top-of-the-line features and slick design, Samsung’s latest smart phone is destined to be a hit among this year’s new tech devices. So where exactly are the Black Friday deals on the phone? It looks as if many retailers are holding out until the last minute for the new Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 smart phone. This year’s Black Friday ads give some indication that things are going to get real interesting with respect to pricing wars this year. However, for now, here is an overview of where to get the best deals and discounts on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

h.h. gregg

h.h. gregg’s Black Friday ad is the only one that lists the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The electronics retailer will be selling the phone at $249 with a Verizon contract, and they’ll be throwing in $100 h.h. gregg store gift card to boot. That brings the price of the phone down to $149, the lowest price we’ve seen so far! The gift card is available whenever you purchase any 4G LTE Smartphone or Mobile Hotspot/Jetpack during their Black Friday sale, which is helpful if you’ve got your eye on the Samsung Galaxy S4 on sale for $149 or the Galaxy S3 for $29.99. Stores will be open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club is now offering special online prices for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. With a 2-year Verizon contract, you can snag the phone online for $188.88. A 2-yr. contract with Sprint can get you the phone online for $248.88, and an AT&T equivalent phone and contract goes for $288.88 in-store. Mote that Sam’s Club’s Black Friday preview ads show the Samsung Galaxy S4 for 96¢. If you’re looking for the best deal on a Samsung phone, you may want to stop by Sam’s Club for this one. Unlike other mega retailers, Sam’s Club stores will not be open on Thanksgiving. They’ll be open on traditional Black Friday at 7 a.m.

Target

Target is currently showing an online only price of $199.99 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Verizon service. They also offer the same phone with a new Sprint account for $249.99. While the Galaxy Note 3 isn’t featured on Target’s Black Friday ad, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 are listed on their Black Friday Door-buster preview ad for 1¢ and $39.99-$49.99, respectively. To take advantage of Target’s Black Friday deals, note that doors will be open on Thanksgiving Day!

RadioShack

RadioShack currently offers the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for the online-only price of $199.99 with Verizon service. If you don’t want to switch providers or if the phone is still out of your price range, you can pick up a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with an AT&T, Sprint or Verizon plan for just $99.99 on Black Friday. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be also on sale for $49.99 for Sprint, AT&T and Verizon as well. Keep in mind that RadioShack will not be open on Thanksgiving Day, but they will be opening on Black Friday at 8 a.m.

Best Buy

Best Buy is currently offering the Samsung Galaxy for $299.99 (for Verizon and AT&T) and $349.99 (for Sprint). Keep in mind the prices may vary online and in-store. While Best Buy will not be offering deals on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Black Friday (or Grey Thursday, if you will), The Samsun Galaxy S4 will be free with a 2-year Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T activation. If you’re interested in snagging Best Buy’s Black Friday deals, note that they will open on Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m., and they’ll be handing out their Black Friday tickets 2 hours prior to opening.

If your heart is set on getting a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 this holiday season, you might want to avoid the Black Friday craze altogether and just do your shopping online. As of now, most of the best deals on the phone are limited to online purchases. However, if you’ve got make your way over to h.h. gregg for multiple holiday shopping items, it may be worth navigating through the crowds for the substantial savings you’ll find there.

Make sure to frequently check store sites and social media pages like Facebook and Twitter for the latest announcements on Black Friday deals. Just because the phone isn’t on many Black Friday ads as of now, doesn’t mean they won’t be on sale at the last minute. Due to heavy competition amongst brick-and-mortar retailers, stores will be pulling out all the stops (including last minute flash sales) to bring in Black Friday customers.
