Best Electronics Expo Black Friday Deals from 2012

Electronics Expo opened its doors Black Friday last year at 7am. The sale went until 9pm and then continued into the weekend, ending on Sunday at 5pm. The one less generous aspect of the sale, though, was the very small window of time for the deals listed on the one-page ad, albeit great deals they are. Mostly HDTVs but other products as well were listed on the ad and all of them have a label “Friday Only 7am-9am.” Yes, that’s right—not 9pm. For the best deals, buyers had to really get there early and get out of there within that 2-hour window.

Let’s take a look at them. The Coby 7” 4GB Tablet With Android 4.0 OS was available for $69; the smooth and sleek Olympus 16M Camera With 21x Zoom was only $99; the JVC HD Camcorder With 40x Zoom was down to $144; and the Smart Network Blu-Ray Disc Player was only $55. Now for the HDTVs, which were the highlight front and center in the ad: the 42” Plasma HDTV had the price drop of 52.36%–making the original price of $699 down to $333.

The New Jersey-based high-end entertainment retailer had some good deals and good products, but the ad didn’t offer quite the comprehensive list that buyers have come to expect. Nevertheless, if Electronics Expo is your store, there was much more to get on deals once you arrived at the store—so be sure to make a stop there this year!
