Update: The rest of the Jo-Anns Black Friday ad scan has been released. Here is our review of the full ad, and we’ve kept our original review of the Jo-Ann’s sneak peek below in case you’re still interested.
Jo-Ann Fabrics stores will open at 6am on Black Friday. Jo-Ann’s will be opening its doors again at 7am on Saturday, too, to keep the discounts and sales rolling.
Here are the full Jo-Ann ad scans (click to view larger). Also, check out our breakdown of the ad below to make sure you’ve got the timing of the sales down. In these 21 pages, Jo-Ann is actually presenting 5 different crops of sales, so let us help you if it’s confusing the first read through.
First off, a few important logistical notes about the sale. Don’t forget the last page of the ad in your excitement to look at the deals – the last page contains some very important information about Jo-Ann’s price match for the holidays.
Jo-Ann’s stores will be price matching both online and offline offers with the company’s price match pledge. You’ll have to have printed proof of the lower price on an identical item at another store, and you’ll have to show this proof to a manager in Jo-Ann.
Also, remember that Jo-Ann is breaking up their ad to include Black Friday doorbusters and Saturday doorbusters as well. Here’s the breakdown of the timing of the ad, as we know it’s a little bit confusing at first:
Pages 1 – 2 of the ad are exclusively Friday items
Pages 3 – 4 of the ad are Saturday only doorbusters
Pages 5 – 12 are the regular Black Friday sales that Jo-Ann stores will have discounted for the whole Black Friday weekend.
Pages 13 – 17 are sales good for Nov. 23rd (Black Friday) through Dec. 1st.
Pages 18- 20 are items discounted from Nov. 29th to Dec. 1st.
We hope this helps. Although the full ad scan isn’t exclusively about Black Friday, we included all the pages to help you get ready for the full holiday offerings from Jo-Anns.
Original Post about the Jo-Ann leaked Black Friday sneak peek:
Two pages, pages 4 and 5, of the Jo-Ann Black Friday 2012 ad are out, courtesy of Brad’s Deals, and hopefully the rest of the ad will not be far behind.
Jo-Ann stores will be opening their doors at 6am on Black Friday and keep their doorbusters rolling all day long.
Supplies will be limited for Black Friday doorbusters, so get to Jo-Ann stores early if you want to shop.
The two big items on page 4 are the Cricut V1 Personal Electronic Cutter, going for $79.99 on Black Friday, down from the normal list price of $199.99, and the Fiskars Fuse Creativity System for $179.99, slashed in price $120 from the regular $299.99.
Both of these $120 savings are steep discounts – the electronic cutter is marked down over 60% – and should be decent machines for you or for another crafter for the holidays.
The main draw of page 5 is the crop of flannel solids and flannel prints. This fabrics will be going for 75% off on Black Friday, and Jo-Ann claims that this will be the lowest price of the year. The fabrics will be sold for $1.49 and $1.74 a yard.
There’s also a nice Singer Tradition 2250 Sewing Machine going for $77.99. This machine regularly goes for $119.99 and has 10 built in stitches with a heavy duty metal frame.
While there’s not a whole lot in these two pages of Jo-Ann Black Friday ad, we should expect some more nice items soon. Last year, the 2011 Jo-Ann ad was 10 pages long and also included a 25% off total purchase coupon for Black Friday (valid from 6am – noon, excluding doorbusters) and a 50% off one single item coupon valid all day Friday. The 50% coupon was valid in-store and online.
Jo-Ann had the same 25% off total purchase and 50% off single item coupons valid on the Saturday after Black Friday as well. While it’s not clear from this ad scan if Jo-Ann is having exclusive items for Black Friday and other items for Saturday like last year, the 2011 ad is a good indication that we should have many more discounted Black Friday Jo-Ann items for this year’s shopping holiday.
If you can’t wait to shop at Jo-Ann’s, make sure to check out some Jo-Ann coupons before you start browsing the supply shelves.
