Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day and we found some places to help you score a sweet deal on some delicious java — and even brewing machines, too.

  • Atlas Coffee Club: Atlas Coffee Club is a coffee subscription that sends members exotic coffees from different countries. To celebrate National Coffee Day, new members will receive their first bag for free (shipping not included) after signing up for a monthly subscription. Use code Impose2016 to snag the deal.
  • Birch Coffee: Long Island-roasted Birch Coffee offers customers a free drip coffee between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. in its eight New York City stores.
  • Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf: Download Coffee Bean’s new app and get a free shot of espresso from participating locations.
  • Cumberland Farms: Text FREECOFFEE to 33733 or 64827 to get a mobile coupon for a free Farmhouse Blend or Bold coffee in any size, hot or cold. Coupon is valid Sept. 29 only.
  • Dairy Queen: Coffee fans can get a small iced coffee for $1, an Ultimate Frappe for $2 or a Premium Fruit Smoothie for $2 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. No coupon is required, and the deal lasts at participating locations all week.
  • Dunkin’ Donuts: Pick up a medium-sized cup of Dunkin’ Donuts’ signature brew for 66 cents on Sept. 29 to commemorate the company’s 66th anniversary.
  • Illy: Illy is offering savings on coffee and coffee makers all month long, including a complimentary KeepCup when using promo code UEKEEPCUP16 on orders of $75 or more. Shoppers can also save 15% on orders of $75, 20% on orders of $150 and 25% on orders of $225 with code UEFLASH16B.
  • Keurig: Starting Sept. 29, online shoppers can get 15% off boxes of select Keurig coffee pods, such as Green Mountain Coffee and Original Donut Shop, or 20% off recyclable K-Cup pods. Use code GREENSAVINGS at checkout.
  • Krispy Kreme: Get a free 12-ounce cup of coffee and a free original glazed doughnut for breakfast or your coffee break. Offer is good for one person per visit.
  • LaMar’s Donuts: At participating locations, shoppers can buy a 16-ounce LaMar’s Collector’s travel mug for $1.19 and get it filled with coffee for free.
  • Maui Wowi: Shop online for Maui Wowi Hawaiian coffee beans and get 50% off your entire order when you use code ALOHACOFFEE at checkout.
  • McDonald’s: McDonald’s restaurants in Hawaii will offer a free cup of McCafe Kona coffee between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. In Philadelphia, McDonald’s will donate the proceeds of every McCafe drink sold on Sept. 29 to charities helping homeless youth. Check with your local McDonald’s to see what other offers are available on National Coffee Day.
  • Peet’s Coffee & Tea: Get a free medium coffee with a fresh food item purchase. The deal is offered all day Sept. 29.
  • Pilot Flying J: Visit Pilot Flying J’s Facebook page for a coupon to claim a free small cup of Pilot Coffee, valid Sept. 29 only.
  • Starbucks: Starbucks is celebrating National Coffee Day a little differently this year. Instead of offering free coffee to customers, for every cup of Mexico Chiapas sold on Sept. 29, the company will donate a rust-resistant coffee tree to coffee farmers in need. While you may not be celebrating National Coffee Day with a free cup of Starbucks joe, you will be helping someone in need.
  • Wawa. Visit the store to pick up a free cup of Wawa coffee, including its Pumpkin Spice blend, in any size.

For commuters, the car-sharing service car2go has teamed up with coffee shops that will offer complimentary brew to its members. Commuters who use the service in Austin, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Denver; New York; Portland, Ore.; San Diego; and Seattle can show the app at participating locations to claim their free java.
