So, if you plan on spending a whole day snapping away, you should first consider buying the Nikon D3200.

Viewing

Both the Nikon D3200 and the Coolpix P600 both offer 3.0” LCD screens for viewing, however, the Coolpix P600 features a screen that flips out while the Nikon D3200’s screen stays stationary. If you prefer a camera that has a flip-out screen, you may want to consider the Coolpix over the Nikon D3200.

Continuous Shooting

If you want to take photos fast and furious, you will absolutely want to opt for the Coolpix P600, which touts a shutter speed of 7 frames per second as opposed to the Nikon D3200, which can only shoot 4 frames per second.

Wi-Fi Ability

One similarity between the two camera is that both the Nikon D3200 and the Coolpix P600 come equipped with Wi-fi capability, which allows you to quickly upload your photos to share on social media, to e-mail or transfer to your iPad or computer. 

Price

When it comes to cost and getting a deal, however, the Nikon D3200 and the Nikon Coolpix P600 vary in price by about $100. According to Consumer Reports.org, the price of the Nikon D3200 is about $479, however, the model can be found as low as $449.44 through Abe’s of Main, but if you need to keep a close eye on your wallet, you may want to opt for the Coolpix P600, which can be found for about $385.
