One of the perks of having The Platinum Card® from American Express is having access to more than 1,200 airport lounges. And soon, one more will be available — this time in London.

The new Centurion Lounge at Heathrow Airport, which will open in 2019, will be the first Centurion location in Europe and the second location outside the United States, The 7,000-square-foot space will be located after security in Terminal 3.

All cardholders of The Platinum Card® from American Express will be able to access the lounge with a same-day boarding pass and their credit card. The first two guests of the cardholder enter for free, and any additional guest can enter for $50 each.

While the lounge will feature the private showers and noise-buffering workstations that are signature features of Centurion lounges, it also promises to offer food and drinks that are distinctively British.

And while you can’t relax in the airport lounge just yet, AmEx is hosting a pop-up event in London’s Covent Garden from Dec. 13 to Dec. 16 to give cardmembers a preview of the lounge’s premium amenities before 2018 winds down.
