Hyatt’s rewards program, World of Hyatt, has just announced some changes that should make it easier for frequent travelers to access certain perks, including access to Hyatt Club Lounges at select properties.
Starting March 1, 2019, a program called Milestone Rewards will throw in some benefits for travelers who have logged at least 20 nights at a qualifying Hyatt property or who have accumulated 35,000 base points. Hit this mark and you’ll be rewarded with two Club Lounge awards, which include free continental breakfast and evening appetizers at participating Hyatt hotels.
If you can log 30 nights or 50,000 base points, you’ll get a free night in a Category 4 or lower room, plus two Club Lounge awards. If you manage to stay 40 nights or accumulate 65,000 base points, you’ll also get a $100 Hyatt gift card.

For frequent travelers, the perks keep adding up. At 50 qualifying nights, Hyatt will throw in two suite upgrade awards. At 60 nights, the rewards include a free night in a Category 7 or lower room and access to concierge services. And rewards at the 70-, 80-, 90- and 100-night levels, added perks include 10,000 bonus Hyatt points added to your account on top of all the other perks.
Even if you can only put in 10 nights a year, under the new program you’ll get bumped you up to the second tier of Hyatt’s rewards program, called the Discoverist tier, which gets you free Wi-Fi and a free daily bottle of water.
