T-Mobile primary plan — T-Mobile One — includes unlimited data for $75 per month. Its network is fast and reliable in urban areas, but it lags behind other carriers in national and state-level network tests, according to an annual report by RootMetrics.

T-Mobile cell phone plans

T-Mobile One

T-Mobile’s flagship plan includes unlimited calls, texts and high-speed data, plus unlimited hot spot data at 3G speeds. Video streaming is limited to standard definition (480p). International perks include: unlimited texting and 2G data speeds in over 140 countries, with inexpensive calling rates.

T-Mobile includes an autopay discount of $5 per month per line in its advertised price. If you don’t opt for autopay, you won’t get the discount. The prices listed below don’t include that discount:

  • Line 1: $75 per month
  • Line 2: $55 per month
  • Lines 3-8: $25 per month

T-Mobile One Military

T-Mobile offers a discounted plan to military service members, veterans and their families. T-Mobile One Military starts at $60 for one line, before autopay discount.

Unlimited 55+

Customer’s over the age of 55 can get two lines of unlimited service for $80 per month; $70 if you opt for automatic payments.

If you upgrade to T-Mobile One Plus for $15 more per line, per month, you get some extra perks:

T-Mobile prepaid plans

T-Mobile One is available without a contract or credit check via T-Mobile’s prepaid service. The carrier also a short-term prepaid option for tourists visiting the United States, as well as more traditional prepaid plans, including it’s monthly and pay-as-you-go plans.
