Rewards have limited flexibility
If you frequently stay at IHG hotel brands but don’t want to pay a fee for a hotel card, the IHG® Rewards Traveler Credit Card may be a viable option for you.
The $0-annual-fee card comes with a generous sign-up bonus and a rich rewards rate of 15 total points per dollar spent when you stay at an IHG hotel.
Although it doesn’t offer an automatic free night’s stay like many other hotel credit cards do, the card gives you a boost toward Gold Elite status, which comes with a variety of benefits. Cardholders can also redeem their points for a stay of four or more nights at an IHG hotel to get the fourth rewards night free.
