why did I get an email saying my credit score has changed? its the same as last month.

It sounds like you’re subscribed to our monthly credit update email, which you’ll receive regardless of whether your score has changed. In this case, “update” simply means that your score is newly up-to-date, even if it hasn’t increased or decreased at all.
Note that this is different from our weekly emails you may be subscribed to; these notify you when your score updates on a weekly basis.
