Communicating with their service reps is like talking to robots. They don’t even listen to what you say and just send pre-scripted responses. BAD BAD BAD!

Fast-food banking

Not a good bank if you are looking for a professional relationship. Client relations are extremely poor both in the branch and on the phone. The same question I have is reciprocated between 7 different reps from 7 different departments with 7 separate answers. Credit Cards are frequently blocked with bogus fraud alerts for a variety of reasons that they never fix: address not updated, travel alert or of course their standard excuse, " It must be because your bill collectors are trying to pull money". Today I am closing my accounts and switching to Chase. The banker at Chase actually called me to confirm a consultation on the accounts they offer. He actually blocked off time on his schedule just to discuss options.

Horrible and to many fees.

I just opened an account with them and I’m about to close it. They’re customer service is also horrible they don’t care about your problems with your account and won’t fix the issues. Even tho they make mistakes that charge you overdraft fees they won’t refund you and won’t fix the issues. They always say they’re gonna have a supervisor call to fix the issues and they never do…DO NOT BANK WITH THEM MOST HORRIBLE BANK EVER!!!

Us bank is great because they give me a military discount. I have been in the military and deserve a free bank account.

Very poor customer service, they are very rude on the phone even to answer question on mortgage payments,they take the payment and act like they are doing you a favor, worst bank I have come across so far, they cannot answer anything without an attitude… worst bank

Greedy bank.

Their fees are ridiculous. I’ve been banking with them since 2012 and I’m over It. They use any an every excuse to take your money. At this point…I’m closing all my accounts.

Customer Service

I have been with US Bank for 7 years now. I recently signed up for the cash plus credit card. My reasoning for signing up for this card was to transfer a current balance from another credit card to the cash plus credit card. I signed up at the bank with a teller, he was really busy that day and didn’t inform me that there would be 3% charge on the balance transfer. So I called US bank and they took care of it for me and reversed the transaction fee. I am very pleased with US bank. That is how you retain customers. All parties involved were very friendly and it felt good being treated the way I was. They just earned a customer for life.

Poor internet banking

Internet banking not up to date ,takes days for debits to show up,usually not even near order that it was debited,if you view statement one day the next day the order money was taken out is different. Current customer ,but not for long

Gypsies tramps and thieves

We signed up for a free $200 to start 2 bank accounts. They have rigged this program to get you to start accounts but so that they don’t have to pay you the $200 by charging monthly fees and exorbitant fees. They are thieves and liars. I hate them.

About U.S. bank fees

Whenever people get cashback in groceries such as 7-Eleven U.S. bank charge them $2.5. That’s just not right at all. Once people open the account employees will tell there is only one fee like monthly statement fee only.

Their customer service sucks. They are all about money and not building a relationship with the customers this is the worse bank I’ve ever banked with will be closing out my account

I got Overdrawn my account and this high fee on my account if i don’t clear my account the next day i will hit other fee. I call the customer service. They help me at all. I will change my bank sooner Us bank did not care about there customers they care about the money. The fee is to high.

Stay away from this US Bank!!!

They are incompetent and horrible. I refinanced my home mortgage loan and paid US Bank in full. They sent me an escrow refund check for over $1,500. I tried to deposit it and they wouldn’t honor it. I have been knocking my head against a rock as they say time and time again that they will re-issue the check and send it to me. I have never received it and yesterday after I made a fuss in my local branch they told me it had been deposited. Impossible! Incompetent thieves is a perfect description for this bank.

watch account for fees

likes, they gave me a credit card.
Dislikes, I have to constantly monitor that they don’t try to charge me late fees. I get off work at 4:00pm PST. my due date is the 24th… if you make a payment 1 minute past CST 6:00pm they charge a fee. If that is the case just call my due date the 23rd and let me have the day to make a payment! so annoying. just shiesters. All my other banks don’t even assess a late fee unless it is 5 days behind… get with the program.

I will never use this bank again!

Worst bank I have ever used, and I am closing out my account the second I can. In short, I joined US Bank when I was under 18 and I had my mom sign on for me. When I called in to get help from customer service on something, they told me I had to call my mom to have her allow them to talk to me. … ok, now that they can talk to me, THEY WONT HELP. They charge an insane amount of interest and then charge more when you have late fees and overdraft fees and MONEY IF YOU DONT USE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR 6 MONTHS. What if I’m trying to save money and not spend it? I can’t believe this bank, they’re only out for money and do not care about their customers.

they set up a bait and switch on promotions so after you have everything filled out and apply for a credit card they can disqualify you from the promotion. STAY AWAY!!!

Bank reorders check to maximize their overdraft fees. Against FDIC policy. This bank has class action law suits pending for it’s actions. Bank should loose billions and have all officers fired!

SO I CALL AND HAVE A STOP PAYMENT PUT ON AN RECURRING PAYMENT COMING OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT, LOW AND BEHOLD I CHECK MY ACCOUNT THIS MORNING AND THE PAYMENT I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON IS PENDING AGAINST MY ACCOUNT. SO I CALL THEM THEY SAY WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING AFTER 8AM AND IT MIGHT NOT GO THROUGH. REALLY? THIS IS THE WORST BANK IN THE NATION THEY NEVER GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT ITS ALWAYS SORRY BUT THE LAST PERSON YOU SPOKE WITH GAVE YOU THE WRONG INFORMATION.
BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK. OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION JUST A MONTH AGO THEY LOST A $1400.00 DEPOSIT OF MINE AND IM STILL WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPEND WITH THAT.
