High fees, customer service is terrible. Already proven to be fraudulent in court. And restrictions do not allow you to use your own money! They are terrible, put your money somewhere else! Closing my account, all the way up to corporate doesn’t care about you or your banking needs.

Horrible bank

I will never get a loan from them again, was explained about a loan one way with the interest and they tackled past deferred and now we are back to square one. We worked hard with what we paid so far and they ruined this customer relationship. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Stay away

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Wells Fargo. I wish I had read reviews about WF before I decided to apply for a home loan with them. I hoped our story would be different from the horror stories I read online about WF, but in turned to be a nightmare. I have an excellent credit score, a well-paid job, and was putting a large down payment. We lost two months of our lives dealing with this soulless bank and were about to lose the house. They keep asking for documents and it takes them forever to take a look at the documents and then they ask for more. They have brokers who deceive and trap you to work with WF. We were lucky to get an extension from the seller and got the loan from another lender. Stay away from this bank, otherwise you will regret it when it is too late.

Keeps overdrafting my account

Every day i have a new fee or something is gettin over drafted…even when i have a few hundred dollars available my card is gettin declined so i have to keep calling them to make my card go threw…

Stay away!

My automatic mortgage payment stopped working half a year ago.
I have called bank many times and sent many letters asking for explanation.
They were very inventive in gettin one “true reason” after another
It is mortgage company fault, turned out to be a total lie
A next few “true explanations” were:

  • you are using “a paper check”, that’s why. What paper checks were needed if I was supposed to use automatic system?
    -Your wife stopped payments. It was one of the most cinical and radiculos reasons.
  • it is because of your typo…
    And it was going on for long 6months. Did l get any less offensive and more truthful explanation? definitely not.
    They are very sweat when they try to sell lies, but get very rude if you do not by lies
    So, make up your mind

Worst Bank ever

I have never banked with a worse bank. They have repeatedly ripped me off. I haven’t used my debit card in over 5 months probably longer, my cousin sent me money at Christmas to get his dad a gift because he lives in Florida. We have done it before for his birthday. I didn’t know he was gonna send it because it was overdrafted $260, and he sent $200 to make a long story short, they said it could take up to 10 days but they wouldn’t return it. Now I haven’t used my card in forever I had Amazon prime and spotify hit and of course the overdraft fee. So, I stopped payment after I already stopped service with Amazon and Spotify and needless to say they still haven’t fixed it. Worse Bank ever, unless you wanna be ripped off don’t bank with Wells Fargo. I have to give 1 star and that’s only because I have to finish review

Wells Fargo has bad customer service. They
Make up their own rules. They don’t like people and are rude. They continue their scamming of customers as before when they made bank accounts for fictional people. Don’t bank with Wells Fargo, don’t accept their credit card.

Left because of fees

I left for another bank as I was being charged $10 monthly for checking as I don’t meet the criteria for having it waived. People in between jobs usually don’t meet the criteria so a good way to keep the poor poor. Thought all accounts were closed then got an email saying the savings that was connected was overdrawn by over a dollar. Because they kept charging a service fee!! For savings! This is total bs since banks make money off of your money being in their bank. I know it wasn’t much but didn’t require any maintenance either. I am with a local bank now but they may start charging for checking as well. Sigh. Need a brick & mortar place as I occasionally need to deposit cash.

Rip off bank

Opens accounts unauthorized. And, closes accounts without notice when they are not making enough money off of you. Stay away, save yourself from the nightmare of dealing with them.

Excellent big bank

I don’t know why there are so many negative feedbacks about WF. For my own experience, WF is one of the best big banks I’ve ever used. The $200 signup bonus is very attractive, and the monthly fee is easy to avoid even when I don’t do direct deposit at WF. I also have BofA and Chase checking account, among which BofA has very well-crafted ATMs and mobile apps, but their fees suck, and Chase has good credit cards but their apps and ATMs are so out-dated. WF has overall very good fee rates and good enough mobile apps. Location of WF branches in San Francisco Bay Area is very vast and convenient, and staffs are well trained. I don’t like carrying debit cards so ability of using mobile apps on ATMs is essential to me. WF has been improving their ATMs to meet the mobile needs even tho they still can’t catch BofA in this field, but they are close enough. Another advantage of WF checking account is the early access of funds transferred from other bank. It takes only 0-2 days to arrive, comparing with other banks’ 2-7 days. Will keep using WF as my main bank.

Great service

I have read so many negative reviews based on overdraft fees, bottom line, these individuals are not properly tracking their accounts. Banks are regulated on how debits and credits are posted. If you don’t spend more than you have in your account, you won’t incur these fees. Wells Fargo has treated me well (I pay my bills on time and don’t overdraft my account). Time for some people to be accountable for trying to “work the system”. These deadbeats are why I left banking-you cannot fix stupid!

Getting robbed.

You want to be double drafted constantly and get no help what so ever wells Fargo is a bank you’ll like. They tell you to file a claim you never get your money back and can’t pay your bills and after you’ll file the claim getting double drafted for multiple expensive charges happens a few times every day at least. This is the worst bank I wouldn’t recommend them to even an enemy if a current customer id leave if you care about keeping your hard earned money.

I have trusted my fund to this bank, but I have already had terrible experience with its policies and ridiculous way to deal with customers. They make up transactions, and the limit of transactions they allow are ridiculous! I’m moving to another bank that want my business and care about people.

GET CHARGED $35 FEE THEN $10 MONTHLY FEE AND ANOTHER $35 FEE ON TOP OF THAT AND SO ON…CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER THEY MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU $35 FEE’S…WELL THEY CAN STAY WITH THERE FEE …GOING TOMORROW TO PAY THEM AND CANCELING ALL ACCOUNTS WITH THEM…TELLING EVERYONE NEVER EVER TO BANK WITH WELLS FARGO THERE THE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER HAD

Great bank/services as long as getting high interest rates isn’t important

I’ve been using Wells Fargo for 7 years, I’ve never been charged a fee. Service has been excellent, both in the bank and online. Website is great. Most importantly, you get 100 free brokerage trades (assuming you have a large enough account with them). Savings account interest is basically nothing, but realistically you should be keeping money in stocks and funds and not relying on savings account for interest.

By far the WORSE BANK EVERR

Customer service sucks. And they are super rude. And they always make you feel like your money isn’t your money…so insulting…and very uncomfortable… I really hate this bank…from the bottom of my heart
