Dana has broad experience in financial services which includes national brokerage firms, a regional  broker dealer, and a family owned savings and loan. She put herself through the last two years of college while working at a national bank part-time. While attending graduate school, she fulfilled a dream of writing for the university newspaper during one quarter. In addition to living for many years in Seattle, WA, Dana has also lived the life of an expat in Czechoslovakia. Dana has also worked for a regional media company, raised money for United Way, and served on her state's K-12 educational policy board. In her spare time, she walks half-marathons, teaches group cycling, is an active Toastmaster, and is a voracious reader of fiction and non-fiction. Her motto is to help you make uncomfortable financial topics more comfortable. Dana's next public event is called Zombies and Zinfandel Vol. 2: Handling Your Financial Monsters on 10/26/16.
