NerdWallet Protect connects through the same secure providers that power major budgeting and rewards apps. Connections are strictly read-only, so we can spot unusual activity but can't move money or change settings. You can disconnect any account, any time.

What does the coverage include?

Up to $1m for identity theft and $250k for cyber events. Coverage can include legal fees, lost wages, and document replacement during recovery, plus identity restoration support from real people who handle the calls and paperwork with you.
