The company aims to offer competitive and affordable car insurance for young and newly qualified drivers, a group which typically face high premiums. By providing them with a black box to install in their cars which monitors their driving, Autosaint rewards the safer drivers with cheaper insurance. Autosaint works with several leading insurance companies such as Aviva, Ageas, and Markerstudy with the aim of offering tailored policies to each customer.
Autosaint’s telematics car insurance records the driving habits of the customer, assessing how safely they drive. Drivers will be able to see their score online, where they can receive help and guidance on how to improve it. Autosaint doesn’t set a curfew so there’s no restrictions regarding night time driving. As well as tracking driving, the box can be used for theft tracking should the car get stolen.
