Lloyds Club Account: This account is for those who can pay in a minimum amount each month, or those who agree to pay a monthly fee. The account offers some preferential terms and rates, alongside other incentives.
Lloyds Platinum Account: Those who are happy to pay a monthly fee can access this account. It comes with a number of added extras on top of the standard banking services, including insurance cover.
Lloyds Club Platinum Account: This account offers extras including insurance and lifestyle services, and also pays interest on balances providing you pay the monthly fee and meet other eligibility criteria.

Can anyone apply for a Lloyds current account?

Yes, there’s nothing to stop you applying, whatever your circumstances. However, most banks, Lloyds included, will check your credit score when you apply and also look at things like your employment status and your income to check whether you are eligible for their accounts. If you apply and are turned down, your credit rating could suffer. Many banks have basic bank accounts for those with bad credit, which usually offer banking services, but rarely offer overdrafts.
