Leisure Guard’s cover is arranged and administered by ROCK Insurance, and they aim to provide comprehensive cover at good value prices.

Leisure Guard Lite offers both single trip and annual multi-trip policies, with a choice of three levels of cover for each. Although each level has different limits and features, as a minimum, they cover holidaymakers in the event of medical emergencies; trip cancellations, curtailments, or interruptions; delays, missed departures and/or connections; lost or damaged personal baggage, money, and passports; and personal accidents. Additional accommodation and travel costs and cover in the event of hijacking or catastrophes may be included in the more comprehensive policies. A variety of sports are also covered by a Leisure Guard Lite travel insurance policy, such as water skiing and surfing.

If holidaymakers want extra protection, they can purchase some optional extensions such as winter sports cover, cruise cover, gadget cover, and an excess waiver. This allows customers to tailor their policy to their specific needs, whether they want specialist cover for their ski equipment or cover for any unused cruise excursions.

Leisure Guard Lite policies are available for people up to the age of 65. However, anyone over this age may still be able to find cover on the standard Leisure Guard site. Leisure Guard may also be able to insure people with pre-existing medical conditions, after the individuals have answered some medical screening questions to see if they are eligible for cover.
