    I don't believe that your comment on the PenFed Amex card is accurate. It does not carry a 2% foreign transaction fee. I have the card and just last week had transactions in Norway that were not charged the fee. Plus I called customer service and they verified that there is no fee.

      You're absolutely right Todd. They were marketing that as a special promotion, and I was under the impression it had ended. But that's not the case, this card still carries no fee for existing cardholders and new applicants.
