Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

At NerdWallet, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a critical role in fostering belonging, celebrating diversity, and promoting professional growth. We proudly support eight ERGs dedicated to creating safe spaces for underrepresented Nerds and their allies.

Our ERGs provide:

Community & Connection – Spaces for Nerds to connect with colleagues who share similar identities and experiences
Professional Development – Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and skills-building.
Allyship & Advocacy – Programs and discussions that promote understanding and inclusion across the company.

Our ERGs are open to all employees and contribute to shaping our culture, influencing company policies, and amplifying voices that make NerdWallet a great place to work for everyone.

Asian Nerds

Celebrates Lunar New Year, Holi, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Diwali. The Asian Nerds ERG host community events throughout the year such as a partnership with The National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA).

Black Nerds Network

Celebrates and sponsors special programming through Black History Month, Juneteenth, as well as curated events for community members such as the BNN Kickback, workshops on building generational wealth and healing from residual trauma in the workplace.

Nerd Allies

Activating allyship within NerdWallet, Nerd Allies hosts fireside chats on topics like Designing for Everyone: Inclusion through Accessibility, developed a resource hub that can be leveraged for self-education, and designs programming on topics such as Neurodiversity in the Workplace.
