While the savings on electronics, kitchen gadgets and hot toys make all the splashy headlines, perhaps the best Amazon Prime Day deal will fly under the radar for many shoppers.
From Oct. 10 through Oct. 31, 2023, Amazon Prime members who apply and are approved for the Prime Visa will instantly get a $150 Amazon gift card. Unlike many new credit card incentives, there's no minimum spending requirement to meet. That’s $150 that you can use however you want with the retailer.
In addition to the limited-time bonus, holders of the Prime Visa can also earn 10% back in rewards on select products from eligible gift guides through the retailer’s Prime Card Bonus offer. Eligible products include toys, electronics, kitchen appliances and more.
The Prime Visa earns:
5% back at Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market.
5% back on purchases through Chase Travel.
2% back at restaurants and gas stations.
2% back on local transit and commuting (including rideshare).
1% back on all other purchases.
The card charges an annual fee of $0 but requires a Prime membership, which costs $139 annually. Amazon does offer several other branded credit card options for consumers and businesses alike, but for Prime members, the Prime Visa will be most rewarding.
