The ad may seem short at only four pages, but that doesn’t mean the savings are small. This 1960s-born Hollywood music store certainly printed some savings worth singing about. Guitar Center will open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday to begin a three-day sale, and prices have been lowered on select models of electric and acoustic guitars, drum kits, drumsticks and speakers.

Here are some of the highlights from the Guitar Center Black Friday ad:

  • $299.99 for an Ibanez AEG2011 cutaway acoustic guitar ($100 off)
  • $99.99 for a Sabian 16-inch crash cymbal ($51 savings)
  • 2-pack of acoustic guitar strings for $15
  • Rogue full-size 4-piece drum set for $149.99 (comes with $50 gift card for future purchases)
  • $69.99 for a Roland Cube amp ($50 discount)
  • Epiphone Les Paul guitar for $89.99
  • $29 for a Mitchell soprano ukulele
  • Simmons 5-piece electronic drum kit for $299.99 ($50 off)

Guitar Center Black Friday Deals from 2014

Guitar Center focused its 2014 Black Friday sale on drum kits, electronic accessories and, of course, guitars. Here are some of the best deals from last year:

  • 15% off any non-sale item of $99 or more
  • Yamaha FG700S solid-top acoustic guitar for $199.99
  • Pearl Soundcheck five-piece drum kit for $399.99 (hardware and cymbals not included)
  • Squier by Fender HSS strat pack with 15-watt amplifier for $249.99

Guitar Center started its Black Friday sale in 2014 at 6 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving. The discounts continued through that Sunday, Nov. 30.
