Kmart Black Friday 2015

The department store known for its blue light specials is once again wowing customers with a Black Friday doorbuster worth waiting for. Kmart has one of the holiday shopping season’s earliest opening times — 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, the same as last year.

Here are some of the highlights from Kmart’s special early morning doorbuster on Thanksgiving, which lasts until 5 p.m.:

  • $399.99 for a Kenmore 18.2-cubic-foot refrigerator
  • $35 for a playard, highchair or bouncer
  • $4.99 and $8.99 for select board games
  • Buy one get one for $1 on select footwear
  • 50% off all Christmas decorations
  • $9.99 for select ankle boots for her
  • A beauty bag complete with lotions, soaps and facial products for just $9.99 with every purchase of $50 or more

The second round of sales will start at 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving and run until 2 p.m. on Black Friday. The first 100 shoppers will receive a tongue-in-cheek goodie bag that reads “I will conquer Black Friday.” Here are a few highlights from that second leg and the three-day holiday weekend sale, which will continue through Saturday:

  • 89 cents for a 4.5-inch poinsettia
  • $3 for a Proctor Silex two-slice toaster, electric can opener, hand mixer or iron
  • $29.99 for a Magic Bullet blender
  • $9.99 for a Black & Decker coffee maker
  • $24.99 for a queen-size raised air mattress
  • $14.99 for a 100-piece drill accessory set
  • 50% off a large selection of men’s, women’s and kids apparel
  • 50% off artificial Christmas trees, all styles and sizes, as well as all other holiday decor
  • $139.99 for the Shark Rocket Ultralight standup vacuum (regularly $189.99)
  • $339.99 for a 43-inch 1080p Samsung HDTV
  • Buy one get one 50% off on all Disney “Cars,” “Planes” and “Toy Story” toys
  • $100 off Barbie and Hot Wheels ride-on cars for kids
  • Buy one get one for $1 on select footwear

Layaway program

From Thanksgiving through Sunday, Nov. 29, Kmart will offer a “No Money Down Layaway” program where shoppers can secure doorbuster deals on select items for no money down.

Giving Back

Kmart is also donating $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every purchase of a Kmart-designed giving hat.

Kmart Black Friday Deals from 2014

Kmart rolled out its 2014 Black Friday savings in an impressive 56-page ad. With discounts on everything from smartphones to TVs to Christmas decorations, the savings were huge.

Doorbuster deals were available starting at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving and continuing through 5 p.m. that evening. The store then rolled out more doorbusters at 7 p.m. and didn’t close until 3 a.m. The doors then reopened at 6 a.m. on Black Friday itself.

Here’s a look back at some of the best deals:

  • RCA 46-inch LED 1080p HDTV for $299.99 (regularly $449.99)
  • 25% off all Otterbox products
  • Fire HD 6 tablet for $79.99 (regularly $99.99)
