Old Navy 2015 Black Friday deals

In 2015, Old Navy released a nine-page ad full of deals on apparel and accessories for the entire family. The Gap Inc.-owned retailer offered 50% off the entire store (in-store only) from 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving through Black Friday. The first 50 customers in line at each store on Thanksgiving were entered into the Overnight Millionaire contest, with a chance to win $1 million.

The retailer also offered 40% off the entire store on Saturday and 40% off online merchandise on Sunday and Cyber Monday. Here are some of the highlights from last year’s sale weekend:

  • Boys’ scarves, mittens and hats were $3.97 to $6.47 (regularly $7.94 to $12.94).
  • Women’s sweaters were $17.47 to $18.47 (regularly $34.94 to $36.94).
  • Girls’ microfleece tops and hoodies were $7.47 to $9.47 (regularly $14.94 to $19.94).
  • Men’s quilted vests were $24.97 (regularly $49.94).

Be mindful — your generous gift list might result in a bit of credit card balance. In the 2015 holiday season, 44% of American shoppers incurred debt and took about two months to pay it off. If you’re part of this crowd, make sure to avoid paying interest with the right credit card. NerdWallet’s list of best credit cards for holiday shopping includes cards with 0% interest periods that may last from 9 to 21 months. There are plenty of reasons to stress over the holidays; don’t let credit card interest be one of them.

Old Navy and Gap cardholders received triple savings on all in-store and online purchases.

If you like shopping at Old Navy, you’ll definitely want to check out the Black Friday deals at these similar stores: Target, J.C. Penney and Kohl’s.
