Pier 1 2016 Black Friday deals

Still waiting for the 2016 Pier 1 Black Friday ad? So are we. Keep checking back, because we’ll post it here as soon as we get our hands on it. In the meantime, take a look at what happened in 2015 for an idea of what you can expect this year.

Pier 1 2015 Black Friday deals

In 2015, Pier 1 decked out its Black Friday ad with a handful of holiday deals. Most of the four-page ad was dedicated to Christmas trees, ornaments, stockings and more holiday decor, with discounts up to 30%.

Pier 1’s Black Friday deals included:

  • 20% off Christmas garlands and ornaments.
  • 20% off tree skirts and stockings.
  • 30% off pre-lit Christmas trees.
  • 20% off wreaths and Christmas dinnerware.

The few non-holiday deals included savings on select pieces of furniture. Pier 1 took 20-30% off throws, Isaac loveseats and chairs, wine racks, side tables and decorative baskets.

Be mindful — your generous gift list might result in a bit of credit card balance. In the 2015 holiday season, 44% of American shoppers incurred debt and took about two months to pay it off. If you’re part of this crowd, make sure to avoid paying interest with the right credit card. NerdWallet’s list of best credit cards for holiday shopping includes cards with 0% interest periods that may last from 9 to 21 months. There are plenty of reasons to stress over the holidays; don’t let credit card interest be one of them.

Pier 1 locations are closed for Thanksgiving, but shoppers can browse the deals online before the stores open on Black Friday. Last year, the holiday promotions continued through the end of November, both online and in store.

If you like shopping at Pier 1, you’ll definitely want to check out the Black Friday deals at these similar stores: Macy’s and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
