Senior Corp Accounting & Compliance Analyst II

This role will support both accounting functions as well as equity administration functions. On the accounting side, this person will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting related to compensation: payroll, benefits, bonuses, SBC, equity, etc. 
Equity administration tasks will include processing of all types of stock grants within our equity administration system, equity reporting, partnering with cross-functional teams such as HR, Legal, and Accounting on all matters related to equity, and addressing inquiries from Nerds as well as internal teams. 

Projects you may be working on in this position include: 

  • Onboard a new equity administration system
  • Partner across business units to understand compensation-related matters and align on a roadmap to achieve shared goals 
  • Continued process improvement for Equity and Accounting close

Where you can make an impact: 

  • Own the end-to-end accounting for areas such as payroll, SBC, bonuses, equity, etc. Partner with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, HR, Compensation, and Legal
  • Own the administration of our Equity Administration System, including access and grant upload/maintenance, ensuring completeness and accuracy of awards
  • Own equity reporting for compliance purposes that enables the company to file public filings timely
  • Drives a best-in-class customer-service process when addressing equity administration questions from Nerds and/or third parties
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the company's accounting and equity procedures and processes to meet audit standards and improve efficiency
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and internal accounting departments to address challenges and achieve desired outcomes

Your experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar degree is required. 
  • 3 to 5 years of professional accounting/finance experience. 
  • Solid understanding of GAAP in practice.
  • Experience in compensation-related accounting (inclusive of equity).
  • Experience working with SOX.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Team player who is proactive and comfortable communicating with people at different levels within the organization.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Customer service-oriented and passionate about effective collaboration. Excellent interpersonal skills, including analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and written communication, when collaborating both internally and externally.

Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
The pay range for this role is$80,000$150,000 USD
