Nerdy takeaways
  • NerdWallet values Wyndham points at 1.2 cents each.

  • The best use of Wyndham points is redeeming them for stays at Wyndham hotels.

  • Wyndham points are worth more than Best Western, IHG, Hilton, Marriott and Radisson points.

Maybe you’re a frequent road tripper who often finds themselves pulling up to a Days Inn or Super 8 at the end of a long day of driving. Perhaps you recently received a Wyndham credit card and earned the welcome offer. Either way, you’ve accumulated a trove of Wyndham points to your name. So how much are they worth?

NerdWallet values Wyndham points at 1.2 cents each.

Calculate your points' value

But how much are 30,000 Wyndham points worth? Or 53,550? Use the calculator below to figure out how much your stash of Wyndham points is worth based on our valuation.

Keep in mind that a Wyndham point might not be worth exactly this much relative to the cash price. There are good Wyndham redemptions, but there are certainly bad ones too. Rather, use this as a ballpark to roughly estimate what your points are worth, and use that as a kickoff to finding your own Wyndham Rewards sweet spots.

Historical Wyndham Rewards point values

Wyndham Rewards are the second-most valuable hotel points, after a slight dip during the pandemic.

Where can I use my Wyndham points?

Hotel nights

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the best use of Wyndham points is redeeming them for stays at Wyndham hotels. You can use points to book stays at Wyndham’s nearly 9,000 hotels, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals worldwide, making it easy for you to find a hotel to spend those points at.

Using points to book a room typically costs either 7,500, 15,000 or 30,000 points per night, depending on where you’re staying.

Other travel

Wyndham has tons of travel partners, including American Airlines AAdvantage, and United Airlines MileagePlus. While these redemptions tend not to be as good, they can come in handy if you don’t have any Wyndham stays coming up in the future.

Other redemptions

While typically these redemptions won’t get you the best value, you still have options if you’re in a pinch and can’t redeem rewards for a Wyndham stay. You can also redeem points for:

  • Gas and other purchases at Marathon gas locations.

  • Online shopping.

  • Gift cards.

  • Charitable donations.
